Sixth Sunday of Easter

Music Reflection – Sixth Sunday of Easter (May 10, 2026 | Mother’s Day)

On this Sixth Sunday of Easter, our music gently reminds us that love is at the heart of our faith. “Faith of Our Fathers” calls us to remain steadfast, while the Psalm invites all creation to rejoice in God’s goodness.

In the Gospel acclamation, we are reminded: “Whoever loves me will keep my word.” This love is beautifully reflected in the lives of our mothers - faithful, patient, and self-giving. As we offer “Keep Me in Your Heart” and receive “God’s Holy Gifts,” we are nourished by the same love we are called to share.

Our meditation instrumental music, “Hail Mary, Gentle Woman,” honors Mary, our model of motherhood, and all mothers who reflect her quiet strength and grace.

As we go forth with “The Spirit Sends Us Forth,” may we carry this love into the world - just as our mothers have lovingly shown us.
