Faith Formation Programs
Adult Faith Formation: Join our ministry to grow in Catholic faith. As a volunteer, you'll be part of the faith formation team, planning and implementing programs for adults. Tasks may include teaching or facilitating programs, working closely with the Director of Religious Education (DRE) and the Pastor.
Assistance for Director of Religious Education: Help the DRE plan and execute special events for religious education students, such as the All Saints Celebration and Year End Celebration.
Catechist (Teacher) for Ages 3 to 12th Grade: Prepare lessons using the teacher manual for Sunday classes. Attend meetings and workshops at St. Anna's and work on catechist certification by attending classes and workshops at other locations.
Catechist Aide (Assistant Teacher): Assist the lead catechist in class every Sunday, and be prepared to take over if necessary. Attend meetings and workshops, working toward certification.
Children's Advent Program: Coordinate a children's Advent play, plan and attend practices, and present the program on a Sunday in Advent. Assistance is needed in areas such as costumes, scenery, publicity, and food.
Christian Initiation Team (RCIA): The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) team provides education and support to non-Catholics interested in learning about our Catholic faith. Team members may teach an RCIA class, act as part of the support team, or mentor candidates.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC): Assist the DRE with sacramental preparation and spiritual direction for children and youth (above grade 2) who have not yet received the sacraments.
Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) Retreats: Participate in annual weekend retreats on campus, with separate events for men and women. Future retreats will use the updated "Welcome - There is More to Life" program.

Easter Vigil Reception: Publicize, set up, decorate, and organize a reception in the parish hall following the Easter Vigil, a special event for our new Catholics.
Families of Faith: An engaging ministry for all families, especially those with young children. The group meets monthly for bible/book study at St. Anna's, beginning with fellowship and a potluck meal. Occasional family-friendly activities include Christmas parties, Braves games, and trips to the zoo. Children and babies are welcome.
