Palm Sunday of the Lord's Passion

March 28 & 29, 2026

Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord – Music Reflection

On this sacred day, our music leads us into the mystery of Christ’s journey—from triumphant entry to sacrificial love.

“Hosanna to the Son of David” (#148) echoes the joyful praise of the crowd, welcoming Jesus as King. Yet, as the liturgy unfolds, we are reminded how quickly voices of praise can turn—inviting us to examine the sincerity of our own faith.

In the “Jesus Song” (#546), we offer not just gifts, but our very lives—by trusting Him , placing before the Lord our struggles, our crosses, and our desire to follow Him more closely.

Through “By Our Love” (#509), we are called to live what we receive in the Eucharist: that the world may recognize Christ in us through genuine charity, unity, and compassion.

Finally, “Take Up Your Cross” (#709) sends us forth with a clear mission—to walk with Christ not only in moments of glory, but also in sacrifice, trusting that the path of the Cross leads to the promise of Resurrection.

May our songs today not only be sung—but lived.
