Holy Thursday Music Reflection - Breaking Bread Hymnal Book
Tonight, we enter into the sacred mystery of love made visible in service and sacrifice. As we sing Glory in the Cross, we are reminded that true glory is found not in power, but in self-giving love.
In the washing of the feet, As I Have Done for You becomes our calling—to love with humility, to serve without hesitation, and to see Christ in one another.
Ubi Caritas gently proclaims that where charity and love abide, God is truly present among us. This Eucharistic celebration deepens in The Supper of the Lord, where we are nourished by Christ Himself, the Bread of Life.
As we process with the Blessed Sacrament in solemn reverence, Pange, Lingua, Gloriosi invites us into quiet adoration, reflecting on the mystery of Christ’s abiding presence.
May our music tonight not only be sung with our voices, but lived in our hearts—through love, service, and communion with the Lord.
