Fifth Sunday of Easter

Music Reflection – (May 2 & 3, 2026)

Today’s liturgy invites us to remain in Christ and to live in His love. As we begin with “Love Divine, All Loves Excelling,” we are reminded that God’s love is the source and fulfillment of our lives ...perfect, transforming, and freely given.

The Psalm echoes our response: “Lord, let your mercy be on us, as we place our trust in you.” In every note we sing, we entrust ourselves to His care, confident that His mercy sustains us.

In the Gospel Acclamation, we proclaim Christ as “the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” Our music becomes a witness of faith, leading others toward Him through the beauty of our praise.

As we offer “I Will Choose Christ,” we renew our personal commitment ... not just in words, but in daily action ... to follow Him faithfully.

In Communion, “One Bread, One Body” unites us as one family in Christ. Through this sacred sharing, our voices become one, reflecting the unity we receive in the Eucharist.

And as we are sent forth with “For the Beauty of the Earth,” we go out in gratitude, carrying God’s love into the world, ready to bear fruit that will last.

May our music today not only be heard , but felt, lived, and offered back to God with love.
