Pentecost Sunday - Mass during the Day

May 23 & 24, 2026

Pentecost invites us to open our hearts to the transforming fire of the Holy Spirit.

In the Entrance song, “Come, Holy Ghost,” we ask the Spirit to descend upon us with wisdom, courage, and peace. The Responsorial Psalm reminds us that God’s Spirit continually renews the earth and breathes new life into weary hearts.

As we sing the Gospel Acclamation, we pray that the fire of divine love may burn within us, filling us with faith and compassion. In the Offertory hymn, “Holy Spirit, Come Now,” we place before God not only bread and wine, but also our hopes, struggles, and desire to live as faithful disciples.

Through “Jesus, Living Bread” at Communion, we are nourished by Christ, whose presence strengthens and unites us as one body in the Spirit. Finally, the Recessional hymn, “Creator Spirit, By Whose Aid,” sends us forth renewed and inspired to share God’s love with the world.

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide, renew, and kindle in us the fire of Christ’s love.
